About the Chausie

ABOUT THE
CHAUSIE

The Chausie is a large muscular cat, with the males being
proportionately larger than the females. The goal of the Chausie
program is to create a good natured domestic cat with the look and
beauty of the Jungle Cat. They have large, mobile tufted ears, long
legs and naturally short tail, reaching to the hock. Our Chausies are
very affectionate. They are accustomed to children and other pets,
and will make great companions if cared for and socialized properly.
Chausies seem to pick one family member to own. In Sarah's home
she has chosen Renae. She will lay with her in bed and follows her
around the house like a puppy. Chausies are very unique. They are
incredible jumpers and love to "strut their stuff" They have a
majestic stride about them. Forget the T.V. watch the Chausie..

Here is Sarah when she was a kitten. As you can see, she had
lots of markings. As she grew all of them disappeared. On the
right she is 7 months old and closly resembles a Jungle Cat.

This is Cairo. She is an F2 Aby/JC cross. Cairo's first litter will be out of
Sampson, a beautiful, black melanistic Jungle Cat! Sampson is owned by
Sue Arnold of Arnold's Exotics.

Meet our new Abbyssinan Sienna. We plan
to breed her to our Melanistic to create
some stunning Chausies. They will have
awesome size and color.

is Leo. He belongs to
Arnolds Exotics. He
is the father of
Sarah. Leo is a very
large Jungle Cat.
Sarah should reach a
good size also.
